  • After fifteen weeks of competition, TF1 will broadcast the final of The Voice Saturday night.
  • Marghe, Jim Bauer, Mentissa and Cyprien will face each other for victory but a new formula should upset their certainties.
  • Producer Pascal Guix explains to 20 minutes how this last evening will unfold.

The final of The Voice will not turn out as usual. For ten years, the TF1 program has had its four finalists compete against each other until the revelation of the sacred talent “most beautiful voice” of the season. But on the occasion of the tenth edition, the rules are upset since when the name of the winner is announced, there will not be four people in the ring but only two.

Elected finalists last Saturday, Marghe, Jim Bauer, Mentissa and Cyprien will compete for the final victory. Usually, the audience can choose between the four candidates until the last minutes of the show, but not this year. “The vote will take place in two stages,” explains producer Pascal Guix to 20 minutes. We will do a first two-thirds vote of the show to go from four to two candidates. “

Nine guests for the final

After this first vote, the two remaining candidates will have the opportunity to sing their own composition, a first in the history of the French version of The Voice. “It takes a lot of work behind the scenes because they’ve worked so hard,” says the producer. This new formula actually required a lot of preparation upstream because the eight semi-finalists had worked on their own title in case of qualification for the final phase. In the end, only two of them will be able to deliver it to TF1 viewers.

On Saturday evening, the four talents still in competition will not sing with their coach, but they will be accompanied by various guests for duets. Louane, Calogero, Grand Corps Malade and London Grammar will support the candidates in the home stretch. In addition, in the second part of the show, Amir, Indila, Kendji Girac, Soolking and last year’s winner, Abi Bernadoth, will perform on the show’s stage.
