Do you remember the saga Arthur and the Invisibles ? The new derivative film should then surprise you… A spin-off titled Arthur, cursedirected by Barthélémy Grossmann, scripted and produced by Luc Besson, will be released on June 29.
And as the first teaser reveals this Thursday, we are very far from a children’s story. Because it is indeed in a more horrific version that should revive the universe of Arthur.
“A Machiavellian and deadly trap”
Shot on the shoulder camera, found footage style, the story will take place on the premises of the original film, as explained in the official synopsis, relayed by BFMTV: “Alex is a fan of the films Arthur and the Invisibles since he was a child. For her birthday, her best friends surprise her by taking her to the abandoned house where the film was shot. None of them suspects that they are heading towards a Machiavellian and deadly trap. What was once a childhood dream will soon turn into a real nightmare…”, it is written. A second trailer should say more on May 13.
