8:22 a.m .: Slight drop in prematurity in departments with low circulation of the coronavirus
According to the Drees, prematurity decreased by around 6% for deliveries during the first confinement of 2020. A decrease observed only in the departments where Covid-19 affected the population little. Several hypotheses have been put forward, but the exact causes remain unknown to this day.
