The definitive starting grid for the 2022 Italian F1 GP

Here is the official and definitive starting grid for the 2022 Italian F1 Grand Prix, sixteenth round of the Formula 1 world championship, which takes place this weekend from September 9 to 11 on the Monza track near Milan.

It was Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc who took pole position at the 2022 Italian Grand Prix, the Monegasque clocked a 1.20.161 and is one tenth ahead of Max Verstappen’s Red Bull and two tenths of the other Ferrari piloted by Carlos Sainz.

Behind, Sergio Perez, Lewis Hamilton, George Russell, Lando Norris, Daniel Ricciardo, Pierre Gasly and Fernando Alonso completed the top ten at the end of this qualifying session, but several drivers received engine penalties and the grid was therefore completely messed up.

Note that the starting grid presented below takes into account the various penalties imposed on the different drivers. This grid will be updated in real time, even in the case of a late penalty. When a pilot receives a penalty, this is materialized in the table by a (+xP) next to the name of the pilot in question.
