In the recovery phase after a calf problem which forced him to train on the sidelines of the group for most of the preparation, Adrien Rabiot seems free of his physical problems. The Juventus midfielder has trained normally in recent days, and could even start for the Blues’ first match on Monday evening against Austria. Adrien Rabiot has in fact become an executive of the system of Didier Deschamps during the last outings of the France team, and the coach is counting on him to go far in this Euro. If he was ultimately not ready to start against Austria, Youssouf Fofana should replace him at the heart of the game.
1:30 p.m. – Hungary-Switzerland to start the day
The first match of the day pits Hungary against Switzerland this Saturday. After missing the European Championship between 1972 and 2016, Hungary is back at the Euro for the third time in a row.
