A new chapter is being opened in the history of Freimann’s settlement – one that is likely to arouse many emotions among the residents. A new residential area is to be built on the site of the former Floriansmühlbad, the “Sakrisch guat” pub, which has since been demolished, and many tennis courts, which have also been demolished. 600 apartments are planned in a very green area west of the Garchinger Mühlbach and not far from the Isarauen. The planning committee of the city council postponed the necessary change to the land use plan and the necessary development plan to the next general assembly in its meeting on Wednesday, but approval there is considered a formality.
