The bodies of two newborn babies discovered in a freezer in Val-de-Marne

New drama in the Val-de-Marne. This Sunday, the Créteil prosecutor’s office indicated that a woman in her thirties is currently in police custody after the discovery by her companion of two frozen newborn babies at their home in Marolles-en-Brie (Val- de-Marne).

The companion, a police officer in his thirties, warned the emergency services on Sunday morning after discovering the bodies of the two babies in their freezer, “twins a priori”, added the Créteil prosecutor’s office, specifying however that expertise was underway to determine the age of the babies.

The couple would not have children together. The woman in police custody is the mother of a child born from a previous union, according to the first elements collected by the investigation which was entrusted to the Territorial Brigade for the Protection of the Family.
