“The black eagle is you! Shame!”, Launch female collectives during Gérard Depardieu’s show in Lyon

Wherever Gérard Depardieu “sings Barbara”, female collectives are there to disrupt the show. “The black eagle, it’s you!” Shame ! “, launched five activists present in the middle of the Lyon concert of the tour Depardieu sings Barbara Saturday night. They suddenly burst in front of the scene shouting, with pig masks on their faces, before being pushed outside by security, noted an AFP journalist.

“They follow the masses, they are poor children led by the nose,” then commented the 74-year-old actor to the applause of some 1,400 people present at the Labor Exchange.

“Public accomplice”

In a press release, these activists from the Amazones Paris and Lyon collectives declared “refuse to let men accused of physical and sexual assault perform quietly on stage. »

Before the concert, a hundred activists – and a few activists – from various women’s collectives had gathered in front of the hall located not far from the center of Lyon, to chant various slogans castigating “the aggressor” Depardieu and his “accomplice public”. The spectators were however able to enter without incident, the entrance to the building having been secured by a dozen police officers.

Since the end of April, several performances of the actor have already been agitated by demonstrators, in particular in Lille on April 28, then this week in Bordeaux and Toulouse.
