The Batmobile from Tim Burton’s first film arrives for a month

The real one, the only one. As part of an exhibition devoted to Batman and entitled The hero with a thousand faces, the cinema and miniature museum of Lyon has been welcoming its most famous car, the Batmobile, since Friday. The one that was used in Tim Burton’s first film, made in 1989.

The machine, exhibited in the courtyard of the establishment, will be visible until March 5, noted Lyon Capital. This is a “world first”, claims the museum.

In September 2021, the Lyonnais had already had the chance to admire the racing car in the heart of the Confluence shopping center for the purposes of a competition, but it was a replica.

In addition, visitors will be able to discover, through the exhibition, other cult objects used during the filming of the various opuses, such as the Catwoman mask worn by Michelle Pfeiffer.
