Ten years ago this trio could still be seen at summer festivals in small kindergartens. There was little more than the first song Chocolate, but it was already clear: They are something special. Three guys who combined amazingly good hip-hop with funny lyrics that resonated with kids but weren’t overbearingly “kid-friendly.” Lukas Habermann and Florian Sump still do without all the Heititeiti and Dutzidutzi when singing and rapping, which often makes children’s music so stupid. Instead, it’s about tidying up (annoying), swear words (hooray!), nasty janitors (nasty) and recorders (see tidying up). Markus Pauli creates music that can compete with the thickest hip-hop and includes quotes that also make adults happy (Falco, Macarena). Many lines of the song have long been dictums in German families, the songs have become more trendy over time, and the halls in which the trio performs have become larger.
