The ambivalent relationship of the CSU to Hungary – Bavaria

Bastian Brauwer has of course looked closely these days and also listened. For example on Monday, when Prime Minister and CSU boss Markus Söder said that it would be “a very good signal” if the soccer arena in Munich would shine in rainbow colors during the European Championship game between the Germans and Hungary. Or on Tuesday, after the veto of the European Football Association Uefa, when Söder wrote on Twitter: “It’s a shame that the Munich arena can’t shine in rainbow colors.” Like Söder, Brauwer also lives in Nuremberg. There he is one of the organizers of the Christopher Street Day (CSD). Anyone who knows that could take Brauwer for a man who is now very satisfied with his Prime Minister. Or is it not? Well, says Brauwer, “I still can’t really believe what you hear”.
