Testing the Yamaha Neo’s: Slowing down – Auto & Mobil

For decades, Yamaha has been building scooters for the whole world. Some with two-stroke engines, others with four-stroke engines – and as early as 1991, the Japanese presented their first electric scooter with the Frog model. At the end of the 1990s, the first Neo’s came onto the market, with a rattling and smelly two-stroke engine and a displacement of 50 cubic centimetres. But that’s over now: The new Neo’s runs electrically and is extremely quiet. Even the first test drives show that nothing can be heard from the engine. This electric scooter allows you to sneak while driving.
