Terra co-founder Do Kwon insists he hasn’t escaped despite Interpol’s “red notice”.

Terraform Labs co-founder Do Kwon has denied news claims he is fleeing law enforcement, although Interpol issued a “red notice” for his arrest last month.

In an interview with Laura Shin on the “Unchained” podcast, Do Kwon explained that he moved to Singapore from South Korea before the collapse of the Terra ecosystem.

“There is no reason for government officials to believe we fled to Singapore,” Kwon said.

Kwon has also denied claims that any of his funds have been withheld, “I have never used KuCoin or OKX as far as I can remember, and I have no funds in them. If $67 million is withheld, I will definitely notice,” he reiterated.

The collapse of the Terra ecosystem has led to widespread financial damage in the crypto industry and has resulted in some investors losing their lifetime savings.Reportedly, a man in Taiwan committed suicide. After losing 2 million dollars

“Yes, I’m sorry,” Do Kwon replied after Laura Shin pressured him to apologize. “UST’s claims of stability convince traders of a system that ultimately fails. I apologize and take responsibility for this,” he concluded, referring to the terraUSD coin developed by his company.
