Last week, ten people were arrested as part of an investigation into two settling of scores in Marseille, said the prosecutor of the Republic of Marseille in a press release. This investigation concerns the death of two people, found charred on December 29, 2020 in the trunk of a car in Pennes-Mirabeau, as well as a third person, found dead in the same circumstances on January 6 in the 16th arrondissement. from Marseille. The three victims had been shot dead, and the investigations quickly led to these various settling of scores.

Three examinations

Among those arrested, two men were indicted and remanded in custody on Monday. One is accused of theft in an organized gang, while the other will have to answer for suspicion of concealment by an organized gang of goods resulting from an organized robbery. Both are accused of criminal conspiracy to commit a crime.

The prosecution specifies that a third indictment has been decided on a suspect accused of criminal association with a view to the commission of a crime. The latter was also remanded in custody on Tuesday.
