For more than ten years he worked in the crime series “Polizeiruf 110” from Brandenburg. Fritz Roth was also known from the “crime scene”. The actor has died at the age of 67.

The film and television actor Fritz Roth has died. That said a spokeswoman for Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg on Tuesday in Berlin. Several media had previously reported.

Since 2011, Roth has had a permanent place in the investigative team of the crime series “Polizeiruf 110” from Brandenburg. He played the clerk Wolfgang Neumann there. He also often appeared as a supporting actor in the other ARD Sunday thriller “Tatort”. He took part in smaller parts in a number of feature films, such as “Summer on the Balcony” (2005) and “Good Bye, Lenin!” (2003). Roth was 67 years old. According to imdb.com, he died in Memmingen on August 8th.

In the crime thriller “Polizeiruf 110: Abgrund” Roth will be seen for the last time in his well-known role in the first in autumn 2022.
