This Saturday, the center of Taufkirchner will resound with rhythm and groove: as the final highlight of their drum and percussion day on Saturday, November 19, the local music school, in cooperation with the culture and congress center, will present the nationally known jazz rock group Groove Galaxy. The concert starts at 7 p.m. The name of the band says it all: a cosmos of catchy jazz rock numbers to sway along opens up when Oliver Hahn, Michael Vochezer, Patrick Scales and Arno Haselsteiner get started. The four are professional musicians, each bringing influences from their “musical home planet” that “merge into an energetic whole”, as promised. In a pre-event from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., participants in the Drum and Percussion Day workshops will present their results. The audience will experience young drum groups and talented young bands. Tickets include access to the Groove Galaxy preview and concert. Information and tickets are available from the website of the Taufkirchen cultural center or Munich ticket.
