After the Panama Papers, an investigation once again reveals the very bad tax practices of certain leaders, including the Czech Prime Minister, the King of Jordan or the presidents of Kenya and Ecuador. According to an investigation published Sunday by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ), they would have concealed assets in offshore companies, in particular for tax evasion purposes. The investigation dubbed “Pandora Papers”, in which approximately 600 journalists collaborated, is based on some 11.9 million documents, which come from 14 financial services companies, and uncovered more than 29,000 offshore companies.

Weather alerts follow one another in France. Météo-France on Monday placed the Bouches-du-Rhône department in red rain-flood vigilance due to an active rain-storm episode which carries a risk of “violent phenomena”. Thirty to forty mm of rain are expected in one hour in the east of the department, with accumulations sometimes reaching 150 mm before a lull. Five other departments have also been placed in orange vigilance: the Alpes de Haute-Provence, the Alpes-Maritimes, the Var, the Vaucluse and Southern Corsica.
