SZ health forum on the subject of robots in care – Munich

The lack of care has not only been a glaring problem in the German healthcare system since the beginning of the pandemic. And not only there. There is a shortage of nurses in hospitals as well as in the home environment. Technical systems up to human-like robots are discussed as a possible solution. Which of these promises and hopes will actually become reality one day? How is this compatible with the demand for good and sensitive care for people in need of care? And what possibilities are there already today to support old and sick people with technical aids? Experts from care and robotics answer these and other questions in conversation with SZ science editor Christina Berndt during a public online event of the SZ health forum. Questions can be sent in advance to [email protected].
