Sylvie Meis mourns her “beloved grandmother”. Her grandmother was 94 years old, Meis wrote on Instagram.
Sylvie Meis (44) says goodbye to her grandmother. On Instagram the presenter wrote that her grandmother died at the age of 94. In emotional words, she explained: “Our family has lost a matriarch, but heaven has gained an angel.”
Meis admired her “beloved grandmother” all her life “for her strength, friendliness, intelligence and humor”. It continues: “Whoever knew her loved her and I am so proud to have had you as my grandmother. I love you so much and will miss you endlessly. May you rest in peace.”
Stars express their condolences
Meis also posted a photo showing her with her grandmother. Both smile at the camera. Another picture shows her grandparents apparently at a young age.
Numerous stars took part in the comments. Moderator Palina Rojinski (37) wrote: “Dear Sylvie, my condolences, she seems to have been a very loving, strong woman.” Influencer Riccardo Simonetti (29) also expressed his “heartfelt condolences”. Model Barbara Meier (36) posted an emoji showing a broken heart.
