Sylvester Stallone’s first leading role in a series will soon be available in Germany. “Tulsa King” opens in March.

“Tulsa King” finally has a German release date. The first series starring Sylvester Stallone (76) starts on March 19, 2023 on Paramount+. The streaming service announced this in a statement. At launch, Paramount will provide two episodes. The following seven episodes are then always available on Sundays.

“Tulsa King”: That’s what Sylvester Stallone’s first series is about

Sylvester Stallone plays New York City gangster Dwight “The General” Manfredi in “Tulsa King.” Released from prison after 25 years, his boss pushes him to comparatively tranquil Tulsa. Here, in the state of Oklahoma, he is supposed to set up a branch for the New York mobsters. Which he also does little squeamishly.

“Tulsa King” was released in the USA on November 13, 2022, before the start of Paramount+ in Germany. The series by “Yellowstone” showrunner Taylor Sheridan (52) was very well received by critics and viewers. Paramount+ ordered a second season in November.

The “General” in “Tulsa King” is the first leading role in a series for movie star Sylvester Stallone. So far he has only had guest roles, for example in “This Is Us” in 2017 or before his great film career, in “Kojak” in 1975.
