Survey record: The AfD smells morning air in Bavaria – Bavaria

from

What a fuss it was in Bavaria when the AfD entered the Bundestag for the first time in 2017. At that time the party achieved 12.4 percent in the Free State, which was the best result in West Germany. Strongholds like Deggendorf, where camera teams from all over the country promptly rushed, contributed to this. Katrin Ebner-Steiner even got around 20 percent there. The refugee crisis, which one had in Deggendorf with a large accommodation directly in front of their eyes, and an anti-Merkel mood were probably the deciding factors. Appropriately, the AfD candidate jumped around riotously in the burqa when the chancellor made an appearance.
