Summer vacation: The best all-inclusive hotel in the world is in Europe

We Germans like to travel a lot. In 2019, i.e. before the start of the corona pandemic, the number of travelers in Germany was 55 million people. The all-inclusive holiday is one of the most popular ways to travel. The travel portal TripAdvisor has now chosen the best all-inclusive hotel in the world. Particularly surprising: It is located in Europe. The “Ikos Aria” on the Greek peninsula of Kefalos has almost exclusively received the grade “excellent” from its more than 1300 reviews on TripAdvisor. The luxurious 5-star resort extends over 20 hectares at the beginning of the Kefalos peninsula. 370 suites, rooms and bungalows belong to the Ikos Aria property. A night in the cheapest room can be had for around 280 euros. Private bungalows with their own pool right on the beach are available from 870 euros per night. “The arrival, the stay, the departure, everything was PERFECT,” says a review of the hotel, for example. The service of the employees is also repeatedly praised. Incidentally, the TripAdvisor list was based on the combination of quantity and quality of the ratings, so the ranking is not set in stone, but it does provide a good guide.
