For the second time after 2018, Alexander Zverev won the trade fair for the best tennis professionals of the year. The 24-year-old beat Russian defending champion Daniil Medvedev in two sets in the final of the ATP Finals.

Olympic champion Alexander Zverev crowned his successful tennis year with the second title at the ATP season end. The 24-year-old beat the Russian defending champion Daniil Medvedev 6: 4, 6: 4 in Turin. The encounter lasted only 75 minutes. Apart from the Grand Slam tournaments and the Olympic Games, the ATP Finals are the most important event that can be won in tennis. It is Zverev’s sixth title in the past eleven months. He has never had so many tournament victories in one year. Zverev, however, is still missing the Grand Slam triumph and in 2021 also the entry into a final at one of the four most important tournaments.
