Subway passengers have to be prepared for weeks of restrictions on the U3 and U6 lines. The reason is the conversion of the Sendlinger Tor underground station. The period between October 8th and December 18th is affected, always Monday to Thursday from around 10:30 p.m., Saturday from 9 p.m. and all day Sunday.
The U3 is then interrupted between Münchner Freiheit and Goetheplatz. The U6 is canceled on the section from Odeonsplatz to Implerstraße. A train commutes between Odeonsplatz and Goetheplatz every 15 minutes. This weekend, as an exception, the U3 runs between Münchner Freiheit and Odeonsplatz instead of the U6. The U6 already ends at the Münchner Freiheit.
