It is the first series leading role for the ex-“Terminator”: Arnold Schwarzenegger will soon be seen in a spy series on Netflix. More details about the cast have now been released.
Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger (74) will receive support from numerous co-stars for his planned spy series on the Netflix streaming service.
The still untitled series will include Gabriel Luna (39, “Terminator: Dark Fate”), Travis Van Winkle (39, “Transformers”) and Jay Baruchel (40, “The Kindness of Strangers”), as the industry journals ” Deadline.com” and “Variety” reported on Thursday.
The project with the “Terminator” star Schwarzenegger in his first leading role in the series was announced last year. The one-hour episode series is produced by Skydance Television and “Sopranos” writer Nick Santora.
Schwarzenegger and his colleague Monica Barbaro (31) play father and daughter who discover that they are both secretly working as CIA agents. Despite the lies and secrets, they end up having to work together. Barbaro is known from series such as “Chicago Justice” and “The Good Cop” and most recently shot the action film “Top Gun: Maverick”.
