For the second time, Japan has to prepare for a hurricane in the typhoon season. This time he is approaching a vacation spot of all things.

A large and powerful typhoon is slowly approaching the southern Japanese holiday paradise of Okinawa. Japan’s weather agency said the second cyclone of the season was moving northwest across the sea east of the Philippines at a speed of just 15 kilometers per hour.

The typhoon is expected to approach the Okinawa area around May 31, reported the Japanese television broadcaster NHK and warned of prolonged hurricane-like weather conditions. Heavy rain is also expected in other parts of the country in the east and west in the next few days, which means there is a risk of landslides.
