Stink bugs crawl into warm homes: you should do that now

Watch the video: stink bugs crowd into warm apartments – you shouldn’t do that under any circumstances.

The stink bugs are moving in.
While they are not dangerous, it would be preferable if they stayed outside.
With the cold season, insects increasingly crawl into houses and apartments to seek protection from the cold and wet.
These insects also include the three most common bugs in Germany: the gray garden bug, the green stink bug and the marbled stink bug.
But they all stink: if they feel threatened, they secrete an unpleasant-smelling secretion.
After long, warm summers, the animals become a nuisance in many places.
In office buildings in autumn, pest controllers often have to get the animals out of the blind boxes in which they have nested.
If you come across a bedbug at home, ideally you should just let it crawl onto a piece of paper and release it outside again.
Unfortunately, if you suck it up, you have to put up with the stench that the bug then causes.
You are also doing something good for the environment if you actively save insects.
