This statement did not spring from the convolutions of his brain – and apparently not from his heart either.
ARD moderators posted this week Stefan Mross (47) and his wife Anna-Carina Woitschack (30) a joint statement in which they were forgiving with each other and affirmed that even after their split, they “will continue to act as a ‘team'” and “wish each other their happiness from the bottom of their hearts”.
They added an emotional sentence: “Gratitude turns the memory into a quiet joy.”
But the statement does not come from the couple, but from the Nazi resistance fighter and theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer († 39).
Pretty uncomfortable, since the two do not refer to their source in the statement. Not for the first time.
Stephen Mross now pushes the embarrassment on his ex. He to BILD: “The statement came from Anna! I asked her beforehand if I hope it’s her quote this time…”
In fact, the two had also stolen from Nazan Eckes (46) in their separation post in November. They took over the TV presenter’s posting of separation almost word for word.
Anna Carina Woitschack admits that she liked the Dietrich Bonhoeffer quote so much that she included it in the breakup post.
She says to BILD: “I was inspired by a sentence, which is not a problem at all. Stefan and I coordinated the statement together and posted it on our channels.”
