Waiters in leather aprons, barbecue sauces with a smoky aroma, three kinds of potato side dishes, men in circles. This is more or less how you imagine the prototypical steak restaurant. Sanji’s on Haidhauser Kellerstrasse does without such clichés. The elegant restaurant with an Asian influence takes starters, side dishes and drinks just as seriously as the steak itself, and does so with almost dogged ambition.
