Start-up – space capsule from Munich – economy

German space start-ups are increasingly aiming for space: The Exploration Company in Munich and Bordeaux is developing a multi-use space capsule. The founders want to use it to transport cargo into space and supply space stations, and in the long term people should also use it to fly into space. The first test flight is scheduled for 2024. The company, which was founded in 2021, has now raised 40 million euros, according to its own statements the largest Series A financing in European space travel to date. Investors include EQT Ventures, Red River West, Vsquared, Habert Dassault Finance and Schlumberger, among others. The space capsule will use environmentally friendly fuel.
