Israel-based StarkWare technology addresses Ethereum’s scalability issues, which cause slow throughput and high gas or transaction costs. The company has two platforms, the StarkEx scaling engine and StarkNet, which put the technology in the hands of developers building decentralized applications (dapps). StarkWare plans to open source the STARK Prover technology that powers those projects.
The announcement was made during StarkWare Sessions 2023 in Israel. The company says its open source plans will take time, but StarkWare is committed to making the entire technology stack transparent to developers.
