Knife attack in the Rambouillet police station in Yvelines. This Friday, around 2:20 p.m., an administrative agent, who worked at the reception, was killed with a stab, learned 20 minutes from corroborating sources. The attacker would have followed this woman of forty years from outside the building and would have struck her at least one stab in the throat while she was in the airlock, specifies a police source. The victim died shortly after help arrived.

Police officers, witnesses of the attack, immediately used their service weapons. The assailant, a 36-year-old Tunisian, unknown to the police, died shortly after, police sources said. The motivations behind this attack are unknown for the time being. The National Anti-Terrorism Prosecutor’s Office (PNAT) specifies that it is not, “at this stage”, seized but an assessment is underway by the police of the anti-terrorism sub-directorate. Magistrates from the Versailles prosecutor’s office and from the PNAT went to the site.

The Prime Minister, Jean Castex and his Minister of the Interior, Gérald Darmanin, indicated that he was going there immediately.
