The music platform Spotify has published the most streamed musicians of the year. The top artist is the same as last year. There is also a German production among the ten most successful podcasts worldwide.

Every December, the streaming service Spotify publishes the world’s most played artists, songs and albums of the year. And then there are regularly amazed faces in Germany: Because the taste of music in the world is not the same as in this country.

However, if you paid attention last year, you have an advantage this time. Because the most popular artist on the planet is the same as last year: It’s Bad Bunny. The Puerto Rican Latin trap singer achieved a sensational 9.1 billion views. Singer Taylor Swift and the South Korean boy band BTS landed in second and third place. The two Canadians Drake and Justin Bieber complete the top 5.

Series “Bizaardvark” and “High School Musical: The Musical” became known. Dua Lipa made it to the list as fifth with “Levitating (feat. DaBaby)”.
