New SAP head of human resources comes from Siemens Energy
Gina Vargiu-Breuer will be the new HR manager at SAP. At the software giant, the 48-year-old takes over the post from Sabine Bendiek, who is leaving the group.
The Software group SAP has found a new HR manager. Gina Vargiu-Breuer was appointed to the board as Chief People Officer and Labor Director on February 1, 2024, the Dax company in Walldorf announced. The 48-year-old comes from the energy technology company Siemens Energy, where, according to the announcement, she built up the global human resources department and was responsible for the group’s human resources strategy. Vargiu-Breuer has been appointed to the board for three years and will be based at the company’s headquarters in Walldorf. She is the successor to Sabine Bendiek.
At the end of March, SAP announced that Bendiek would not be extending her contract, which ran until the end of 2023, at her own request. Strategy chief Sebastian Steinhäuser will also take over Bendiek’s role as Chief Operating Officer from next year, according to the announcement.
