Ah what are we tight at the bottom of this TGV. About a million travelers are expected in high-speed trains and Intercités on the occasion of the Ascension Bridge, SNCF announced Tuesday.
Nearly 2,500 TGVs will run between Wednesday and Sunday. Eight TGV out of 10 on average will be in circulation -100% on the Atlantic and South-East axes – and 95% of TER, she explains in a press release.

The company, which had reduced its TGV offer to four out of 10 trains during the period of travel restrictions, has gradually increased it since the end of last week. Reservations, although in “clear rise for two weeks”, they remain however lower “of the order of 30%” compared to 2019.
“For the weekend of Pentecost, the trend is also to increase but the dynamic remains less strong than on the Ascension to date, which is not a surprise given the wait-and-see attitude of customers who are reserving for many at the last moment, ”she says.
