Six-lane expansion of the A94: Angelrechtingen carry out noise measurements – Ebersberg

In order to achieve optimal noise protection for the planned six-lane expansion of the A 94, Poinger residents carried out noise measurements with the support of Freie Wahler. On Wednesday they handed over the results in the state parliament.

A planned major project on the A 94 was the subject of the Bavarian state parliament on Wednesday morning: the six-lane expansion between the motorway junction and the Markt Schwaben junction. In perspective, it should only start in roughly ten to 15 years, but the project is already causing concern in some areas – for example the citizens of Angelrechtingen. The Poinger district is just a stone’s throw north of the autobahn, and there are just over 200 meters between the nearest building and the road. It does make a difference whether there are four or six lanes. Therefore, the Angelrechtingen made some noise protection measurements themselves, and on Wednesday the results were handed over to representatives of Autobahn GmbH and the Bavarian Ministry of Transport in the Bavarian state parliament.

As Günter Scherzl reports, some of the affected residents have approached the Freie Wahler with their concerns. He is chairman of the Poinger Free Voters Community (FWG) and a member of the municipal council. At the same time, the community is also in contact with those responsible for the project, and he sees the work of the Freie Wahler as supportive – in addition to him and representatives from Angelrechtingen, Nikolaus Kraus, member of the state parliament, and Manfred Eibl, transport policy spokesman for the FW- parliamentary group present.

“It is our concern to achieve the best possible noise protection during the forthcoming expansion,” said Scherzl after the appointment. The measurements have shown that the legally regulated limit values are sometimes already exceeded at night.

“We are very pleased that the representatives of Autobahn GmbH des Bundes were so open at our meeting today and that we were able to conduct a constructive dialogue that will continue in the future,” said the traffic policy spokesman for the FW parliamentary group Eibl in one press release quoted. “As the responsible MP, it is very important to me that the needs of residents along the A 94 are taken into account – both in the renovation of the existing route and in the planned expansion to six lanes,” said Kraus, a member of the constituency .

Because there is also a construction site on the A94 these days – the lanes are being renewed. The section between Markt Schwaben and Hohenlinden in the direction of Passau is currently being renovated, followed by the oncoming lane. In the coming year, the stretch of motorway between Markt Schwaben and the München-Ost junction will be renewed. The construction site will be normal for two years.
