Whether in the food industry, on the construction site or in the car workshop – there is a lack of trainees in Bavarian companies. According to the Federal Employment Agency, 15,610 of the total of 96,780 vocational training places remained vacant in the fall; the number has doubled in the past ten years. The companies suffer from the chronic shortage of young people – insights into four Bavarian companies.
