Several automatic radars burned during the night

Two automatic road control radars were burned overnight from Tuesday to Wednesday, in the Gard, and a third was damaged and an attempted fire. But this time, the firefighters intervened in time to avoid its total destruction.

The first radar was located on departmental road 40 between Congénies and Calvisson, the second on departmental road 999, near Quissac. The mode of operation was identical. Tires were deposited around the speed detectors before being set on fire. The investigation was entrusted to the Gard gendarmerie.
