All the things people in love don’t give each other for the celebration of love: Glitter things, lucky charms or glass blowing seminars, books, beauty stuff or beer sommelier courses. It only becomes difficult when the man of the heart comes with an animal roommate: “Honey, he’ll give you a dog so you don’t want children,” says tough Mel to her sometimes naive friend and new dog owner Eve. The other two friends Tati and Lou have a similar view, so the joy about the little barker is short-lived, but the wish for a baby remains. What Eve then comes up with is, to put it mildly, idiosyncratic.
