However, it hurts that the current season is over for me,” wrote the 36-year-old on Instagram.
Neuer had already failed in the preliminary round with the DFB selection at the World Cup in Qatar. Before the tournament, he was out for a few weeks due to a shoulder injury. At Bayern he will now be replaced by Sven Ulreich (34). Bayern star Neuer is therefore also not available in the Champions League hit games against Paris Saint-Germain.
