Schools: If parents do not have their children tested – Munich district

Parents who do not send their children to school because of the compulsory test must expect a fine in the future. How does a school deal with the new situation? And how do you help the children?

The situation requires a lot of sensitivity from school principals: Even in the Munich district, individual children are currently staying away from lessons because their parents do not want them to regularly test themselves for a corona infection there. But that is a prerequisite for being able to attend classes. The Ministry of Culture recently tightened its rules: Parents can no longer have their children released because they see an “individually perceived risk situation” and do not want their offspring to be tested in school.
