SBK 22 Review – Preview

After more than ten years of abstinence

The Superbike World Championship is making its way back to Xbox after a ten year hiatus. Once again, Milestone’s motorcycle experts, who are also responsible for MotoGP 22, have been commissioned to give the 2022 Superbike World Championship motorcycle racing game a virtual appearance.

In our test you will now find out why we bring MotoGP 22 into play right at the beginning and what SBK 22 has to offer you for 39.99 euros.

At SBK 22 you can let off steam in career mode, take care of managing the team and prove yourself on the race weekend in practice, the Superpoles and the actual race. In between, you deal with the right choice of tires, take care of the fine adjustments of your trusty steed and optimize fuel management.

Away from the slopes, you can also use various editors to design individual content, such as stickers, helmets, driver numbers and patches for drivers and teams. It is also possible to create a completely fictional team with customizable clothing and your own desired colors.

But before all of this happens, a simple tutorial will first show you the basics of SBK 22 and help you find the right settings. Without curve display, classic arrows on the ground or flags at the edge of the track that show you the braking and acceleration points. You can also adjust the severity of the penalties and the damage model, as well as continuously adjust the general level of difficulty.
