Sam Bankman-Fried’s attorney Asked to hide the identity of two guarantors on his $250 million bond. and not publicly disclosed citing concerns about harassment
Mark Cohen and Christian Everdell of law firm Cohen & Gresser LLP, representing FTX’s former CEO, filed the complaint in a letter to Judge Lewis Kaplan on Tuesday.
“Over the past few weeks, Bankman-Fried’s parents became the target of scrutiny, massive media harassment,” Everdell and Cohen said in the filing. “Above all, Mr. Bankman-Fried’s parents Constantly receiving threatening letters including communications requiring them to be physically harmed.”
This raised concerns that the two additional guarantors would face similar intrusions of their privacy if their names appeared. or have disclosed their identity to the public”
Judge Lewis Kaplan accepted that request during the lawsuit. Bankman-Fried this afternoon, according to reports.of The Wall Street Journal and allow the names of additional co-signers to be not disclosed in the bail agreement of Bankman-Fried and the date of the preliminary hearing
