Sauerlach: Three injured in an accident – district of Munich

Three people, including two children, were injured in a serious traffic accident near Sauerlach on Tuesday afternoon. For unexplained reasons, two cars collided on state road 2573 at the junction with Holzkirchner Strasse. According to fire department circles, a car was thrown about 40 meters. The driver, a 45-year-old, was unharmed, but the two girls in the back seat of the car suffered minor injuries. Both were taken to a hospital for observation.

The driver of the other car, a 75-year-old, had to be rescued by the fire department. To do this, the assistants cut off the roof of the small car. The woman suffered serious injuries, police said. A rescue helicopter took the pensioner to a hospital for inpatient treatment.

The state road had to be closed for several hours for the rescue, and traffic was diverted. To clarify the course of the accident, the public prosecutor’s office called an expert to the scene of the accident.
