The Kinderland day-care center in Sauerlach should finally get a permanent home. So far, the facility with its three groups has been housed in a container facility on Felix-Wankel-Strasse. According to the will of the municipal council, a new building is to be erected on a plot of land on Reißerweg. In this case, however, the municipality does not want to appear as the client itself. “They are looking for an operator who will build the building themselves,” says Sauerlach’s mayor, Barbara Bogner (independent citizens’ association). “I was commissioned to speak to Kinderland and other operators.” Personally, according to Bogner, it would be best to keep the children’s area up and running as a sponsor. The property on Reißerweg was made available to the parish by the Catholic parish association.
