The first-person base-building game Satisfactory has been in development since 2016. The title entered Early Access in 2019. However, the long testing and expansion phase should soon be over. The developers at Coffee Stain Studios announced the release of version 1.0 with a rather funny video. It touts an upcoming feature for the open-world building game that is due to appear with the full version: a toilet flush.
Toilets are the focus of the new video
The developers’ new video revolves around a worker who suddenly feels a natural urge. In elaborately animated action sequences, the worker jumps over conveyor belts or slides gracefully under them to get to the HUB’s bathroom facilities. Salvation seems far away, but the worker still manages to get to the toilet.
Shortly afterwards, a toilet flush can be heard, which the developers celebrate with the display of “Satisfactory: Toilet Flush”. It is then revealed that this update will be released on September 10, 2024. It is shown in very small letters that this will also be the release date of Satisfactory 1.0, but the team has now run out of budget for trailers.
As Coffee Stain Studios announced, the price of Satisfactory will also rise with the release of the full version. Instead of the current 29.99 euros, the price of the game will rise to 39.99 euros in September. Anyone who wants to buy the building game even cheaper is in luck. Satisfactory is reduced to 14.99 euros in the Steam Summer Sale, which runs until July 11th. Satisfactory is available on Steam and in the Epic Games Store.
