Satire – parents’ evenings and other evils – Munich

Eva Karl-Faltermeier, the woman with the strange surname, comes to Munich on two evenings: On Thursday, September 2, she will be guest with “Susi Raith & die Spießer” in the courtyard of the Deutsches Museum and the next day the cabaret artist will be out with her Colleagues Bumillo together. Faltermeier and Raith live in the same community in the Upper Palatinate and promise to bring the “home of fog” to life in Munich. Her project “Ned Hudln” (no hurry) combines pop songs and emancipated music cabaret. Friday evening, on the other hand, is all about parents’ evening – the “final boss” of parenthood, as Faltermeier says. The trained journalist is not only a cabaret artist, podcaster and winner of the Bavarian Cabaret Prize 2021, but also the mother of two children. The cabaret artist Bumillo, whose program includes stand-up, rhymes and spoken singing, can also come up with some fatherly experiences. And so there is a best-of of the crazy encounters between educators and their offspring in the Seidlvilla.
