Schwalbach/Ts. – June 22, 2022 Samsung today unveiled the short film Make Stranger Nights Epic, a tribute to the popular Netflix series Stranger Things. In the new video, the nightography features of the Galaxy S22 Ultra are impressively staged. The short film, part of Netflix’s long-term partnership, is available to view now on Samsung’s social channels, in time for the start of Stranger Things Season 2, Part 2.

In the short film inspired by Stranger Things, Samsung presents the impressive nightography features of the Galaxy S22 Ultra. In Stranger Things Season 4, the night opens the door to an exciting new world. The Samsung Epos with the Galaxy S22 Ultra picks up on this topic and shows how night photography technology can be used to capture epic night shots.

Turn the night into your epic

In Make Stranger Nights Epic, a young girl puts her Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra in her pocket and rides her bike to a Stranger Things 4 watch party at her friend’s house. While driving, the video function of her smartphone accidentally switches on and records everything that is happening behind her – upside down. All vertically shot scenes were filmed with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra1.

The short film makes the most of the Galaxy S22 Ultra’s powerful nightography camera capabilities. Among other things, the Galaxy S22 Ultra is equipped with a 108 MP main camera and a large 2.4 µm pixel sensor that works with AI. The large pixels allow a lot of light and image data to be captured for brilliant, sharp video recordings day and night.

A galaxy of fascinating content

Samsung and Netflix have been working together for a long time and together they have developed some successful campaigns for some of the streaming platform’s most popular series. For example, an integrated campaign for the start of the second season of “Emily in Paris” in January 2022. Emily fans could, among other things, take on the leading role in their own animated poster with “flip the script” with the help of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5G.

Samsung and Netflix also teamed up to produce a Bridgerton short film introducing the Galaxy S22 series at February’s Unpacked event. In the three-minute sketch, inventors try to get the attention of Bridgerton’s Queen Charlotte. Inventor Lord Tristar finally has the desired success with his visionary creation – a huge neoclassical painting of the Galaxy S22/S22+, which will take 209 years to complete.

Samsung and Netflix will continue this successful partnership with new, powerful content.
