Saint-Charles station in Marseille evacuated, traffic interrupted

The Marseille Saint-Charles station was completely evacuated this Tuesday morning, to allow the intervention of the security services, announces the SNCF on Twitter. Abandoned luggage spotted within the station is at the origin of this operation, specifies the railway company on the same social network.

For the time being, the traffic has been largely interrupted according to this same source. A return to normal is expected around 11:35 am, according to Provence. Deminers are on site to neutralize what may be a suspicious package. Delays are to be expected.
