05.40 am: Ukrainian drones have attacked several Russian regions, according to Russian officials. At least twenty-three drones were destroyed over the western Russian region of Bryansk, which borders Ukraine, the region’s governor, Alexander Bogomas, wrote on the Telegram messaging app.
Russian air defense systems also intercepted drones over the Smolensk region, the governor of the western Russian region, Vasily Anokhin, also explained on Telegram. An air raid warning has been declared for the Lipetsk region, a few hundred kilometers south of Moscow, the region’s governor wrote on Telegram.
